Multiple Old Fractured or Failing Dental Implants

Situation: As a vibrant 87 year old from Potomac, MD wanting better function, Mr. T presented with multiple failing old dental implants, causing the old prosthesis to break. In addition, his lower teeth had fractured and his bite was severely closed.  In addition, his lower teeth had fractured and his bite was severely closed.

Treatment: In order to restore his mouth to complete function, we had to locate parts that would fit the old dental implants, extract the failed ones, and replace them with several new ones. We were able to restore him to complete function. He now travels to Florida in the winter with complete confidence.

Severe Functional and Aesthetic Full Mouth Rehabilitation for Bethesda patient

Situation: Lucy visited us from Bethesda MD and presented with a very dire situation after the complete loss of bone up to the floor of her nose, when her impacted upper left canine (#11) was surgically extracted. She was also missing key teeth next to the surgical defect, several teeth were broken down, her bite was non-functional, and her teeth were very unaesthetic.

Treatment: It was imperative that the two preplanned dental implants be successfully inserted within a constricted space in order to restore the mutilated left side. She was given a new smile with complete function-with a very good, long-term prognosis. Needless to say, Lucy is thrilled with her rejuvenated mouth and smile.

Kathy from Washington DC wanted a prosthesis that functioned & looked like it was fabricated on natural teeth

Situation: Kathy from Washington DC was unalterably opposed to having an All-on-4, 5, 6, or 8 fixed denture prosthesis. She wanted a prosthesis that functioned and looked like it was fabricated on natural teeth.

Treatment: In spite of very thin bone at severe angles, we were able to create very aesthetic dental crowns on “tooth” abutments.

Front Tooth Replacement with Dental Implants

Situation: The most difficult of restoration occurs when fabricating an anterior crown to fit on an implant.

Treatment: We began the process by performing a “virtual reality” “placement” of the implant on a CT scan and manipulating it into the perfect position at just the right angle and location. Using the surgical guide developed from that virtual “placement”, the implant was positioned precisely between the nerve and the bone. The result was a “simply radiant, simply natural” anterior replacement tooth that matches her natural teeth.
